Thank you to the publisher, Henry Holt, for my free review copy. All opinions are my own.

The book, Happiness: The Crooked Little Road to Semi-Ever After by Heather Harpham, is a memoir about a mama’s journey through her daughter’s illness. It is heartbreaking, yet hopeful. The things parents do to ensure the safety and well-being of their child(ren)! But when a child is sick and the choices you have don’t come with the certainty of a happy outcome, it can make things very heart-wrenching.

This book will leave you hugging your child(ren) tighter, thanking God for the health of your child(ren), and super thankful for modern medicine. It is ultimately a very hopeful story.
