This is the story literally taken from the headlines…two girls stab a classmate in order to please a fictional comic book figure. From there, Carter Wilson lets his mind weave a sinister tale that’s full of twists and turns.
It’s a good, quick read. But I didn’t love it. I found myself skimming through a lot of it. I was slightly annoyed by the main character and questioned a lot of her decisions. I found much of the story to be totally unbelievable. I think those two things alone made it difficult for me to connect and enjoy the story.
Also, to be fair, the thriller genre really isn’t my favorite.
