I’m hoping to meet some new book bloggers through participation in Nonfiction November. I know blogging isn’t as popular as it once was, but I love it as a more comprehensive reading journal than I get through my Bookstagram account. (Find me at @happiestwhenreading.)
I’ve had Bad Blood on my library holds list for ages – I adored the podcast series based on the book, and can’t wait to read it!

It’s very similar…a lot of the information is the same. But what an intriguing story!

I forgot about Eloquent Rage and will be adding that to my TBR on race in America collection on Kindle. Thanks for reminding me. Out of all the books you mentioned, are there one or two that stand out above the others? Or are must-reads?

I think the 9/11 books totally stand out (if you only chose one, go with Only Plane). I also really enjoyed American Predator, I Think You Should Talk to Someone, and Tiny Beautiful Things!

I’m trying to up the amount of social issue books I read next year. I’m starting New Jim Crow in a couple days, in fact. Maybe we could do some buddy reads sometime? I’d love someone to discuss books with!
