This year I’m reading…

I actually just finished A Good Marriage and I really enjoyed it! I liked the plot, the pacing, and the twists and turns. It’s a quick read that really kept me turning the pages!

Last year I was reading…

I LOVED this book! It started off as a slow burn, but once I was immersed in the story, I was hooked. It’s one of those books that everyone should read and I think it should be added to high school and college curriculums. It’s a masterpiece and if you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend that you do!

I can’t really think of a single comparison between these two besides both stories are set in New York. A Good Marriage is a murder mystery/legal thriller and Americanah is literary fiction.

If I were to chose which one is my favorite, there’s no question that it is Americanah! It’s a book that will live on my favorite shelves forever, and as I mentioned above, I think it’s one of those books that everyone should read!
